Today I had to say goodbye to one of the gentlemen that circulate in the world of surgery. As this business is, surely (if I can such crises of faith that makes me very often lately) we'll meet.
I can only wish you the best, and thank you for everything you taught me. By being on the other side of the door looking or on those long nights guards to appear that never ends. For sharing with me the first New Year's Eve away from home. For me to close my first laparotomy with the infinite patience that only have the largest. For this knowledge to be, and that defense of the bases of the profession.
As I say, a gentleman of which are no longer, and besides all that, it's a wonderful woman. A hug and see you soon;)
